We need a lot more information than this in order to provide you with any help ::smile::

Could you please post detailed information (specs) of your PC? This way, we can find out what the problem is.

What are your specs? (system). It looks like your CPU is very old.
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/mumble/forums/forum/492607/topic/4500452/

Looks like you got an old athlon PC. According to the IRC gang it might work if the program was recompiled for i386. Are you working on a PC or a MAC?

    Mumble:

    What are the system requirements?

The client runs on any Windows, Linux or Mac OS X machine. You also need a microphone. The server is mostly bandwidth bound, so as long as your network hardware is sufficient it should run on pretty much anything.

Please note that the Windows binaries distributed from SourceForge are compiled for SSE (Pentium 3 or Athlon-XP). Mumble is a VOIP solution for gaming, and as most modern games require at least that good a CPU it makes little sense for us not to optimize for it.

This is quite unfortunate; it might not be able to run a lot of modern programs. I will see what I can do, but in the meantime..

If you're still using Internet Explorer 6, please update to Firefox or Chrome... please Sad

Just to remind you all. Mumble is not 24/7 online. Mumble is always online when there are classes / exams and at evenings. But sometimes it's not (especially during the day). We do not have a budget on voice server hosting. So I host it myself. That's why ::smile::
